- 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Cumin powder roasted
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder roasted

- 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Green Chilli paste
- 1 1/2 cups Yoghurt
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- FOR HOMEMADE GARAM MASALA -
- 1 nos Black Cardamom
- 4-5 nos Green Cardamom
- 2 nos Cinnamon sticks
- 5-6 Black Peppercorns
- 1 tsp Caraway seeds
- 1/8 tsp Nutmeg powder
- 1/8 tsp Mace powder
Instructions to make to make Raan E Murg Sikandari
- Wash and clean chicken at first. Make deep cuts on both the sides of the thighs. Roast Garam masala ingredients mentioned above on a low heat and then grind it to a make a powder. Marinate these chicken thighs with this powdered Garam masala and all the rest of the ingredients mentioned.
- Keep well covered in the refrigerator overnight or for atleast 3-4 hours. Barbecue on a charcoal grill or bake them in a preheated fan assisted oven on 240° for 50-60 minutes on the last rack. Cover with an aluminium foil when done halfway through just to prevent it from darkening on top.
